Project Details
SOL is the name of a hypothetical lightbulb manufacturer and "Celestial Cycles" is my concept for what one of SOL's lines of specialized-use lightbulbs could look like.

The 'Celestial Cycle' bulbs would serve the purpose of mood regulation with a visual and conceptual theme that corresponds with how light and shadow appear on the surface of the moon and earth during different different cycles or phases. For SOL's logo design, I was inspired by the word "solstice", which shares the pre-fix "sol-" and also relates to the display of light on the surface of the Earth at a particular point in its rotation. The "O" in "SOL" holds a wireframe visual of Earth and the angle on which its axis sits during the annual Summer Solstice.
